Carpet Stretching & Repair in Denver

Ripples, wrinkles, loose seams, and pet or burn damage fixed without replacing the carpet. Most rooms are done in a couple of hours, quoted flat-rate from your photos.

Fix the Carpet You Have

Carpet that's rippled or wrinkled isn't worn out. Usually it was installed with a knee kicker instead of a power stretcher, or heavy furniture was dragged across it, or a few humid summers loosened it. Left alone, the ripples wear faster and become a trip hazard on stairs and in hallways.

We re-stretch carpet with a power stretcher, re-tack it at the walls and transitions, and trim it clean. Loose seams get re-glued or re-seamed, and burns, stains, or pet damage get patched with a piece from a closet or remnant so the repair blends in. It's a fraction of the cost of new carpet and usually done the same visit.

Carpet Stretching in Colorado: Good to Know

Why Carpet Ripples

Improper installation, dragging furniture, and humidity swings all loosen carpet over time. Stretching fixes it; it doesn't come back if it's stretched properly.

Patching

A patch uses carpet from a closet floor or a leftover remnant. On a matching pattern and pile it's nearly invisible; on very worn carpet it will look slightly newer than its surroundings.

Sell or Rent

Stretching and patching is the cheapest way to get a house past a showing or an inspection without replacing the carpet.

Carpet Stretching FAQ

Usually the original install used a knee kicker instead of a power stretcher, or heavy furniture was dragged across it. Humidity and heat loosen carpet over time, too. A proper power stretch fixes it.

Yes. We cut out the damaged section and set in a matching piece from a closet or a remnant you've kept. On most carpets the patch blends in well.

Move the small stuff and anything breakable. We'll shift sofas and beds as needed and put them back before we leave.
